Victoria specializes in working with children ages 5–12, particularly those who have experienced trauma, grief, family changes, anxiety, or other difficult life experiences.
Children don’t always have the words to explain what they’re feeling. Sometimes what they have experienced shows up instead through big emotions, anger, anxiety, fears, withdrawal, behavioral changes, difficulty regulating, or struggles at home or school. Victoria’s approach focuses on understanding what may be underneath those behaviors rather than simply trying to change them.
Using trauma-informed, play-based therapy, Victoria creates a developmentally appropriate space where children can communicate, explore emotions, build a sense of safety, and begin processing difficult experiences in ways that feel natural to them. Victoria focuses on adapting interventions to meet each child at their developmental level.
Victoria also values collaboration with parents and caregivers. She believes helping adults understand their child’s emotional world and providing practical tools for supporting regulation and connection can be an important part of a child’s healing.
